Rotary is a worldwide volunteer organization of business and
professional leaders that provide humanitarian service, encourages
high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill
and peace in the world. Rotary initiates humanitarian programs that
address today’s challenging issues, such as hunger, poverty, and
illiteracy in both the local and International communities.
Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 31,000
Rotary clubs located in 165 countries.
Sanger Rotarians are part of this diverse group of professional and
business leaders working to address various community and
international needs and to promote peace and understanding
throughout the world.
The City of Sanger is located in Central California’s San Joaquin
Valley next to the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Being located in
the heart of the world’s richest farmland, Sanger embraces a strong
agricultural heritage and is the official ‘Nation's Christmas Tree
City.’ Sanger Rotary members are managers, owners of businesses and
professionals leaders in the community. They practice the Rotary
Motto of ‘Service Above Self.’
The Sanger Rotary Club chartered on June 16, 1953. Reviewing the
